Get Started with these easy Steps:

1 Create Your Account

Sign up or log in to your MySmartBuddy account. Login is securely handled by Auth0 ( Google SSO login)

2 Install the Chrome Extension

Get MySmartBuddy from Chrome Web Store

  1. In the extension page click "Add to Chrome"
  2. Open the extension options and click "Log in"
  3. Complete authentication when redirected to MySmartBuddy.com
  4. If login is successful, a new tab will open with the extension's success notification page
  5. After login, you will see a new button "Summarize" under the video in every youtube page.
  6. Click Summarize to generate the summary! See FAQ page for more information.
    7. Tip: If the summarize button isn't visible under the video in a youtube.com/watch.. page, please reload the youtube page.
Summarize from your mobile
  • In your mobile browser, visit https://mysmartbuddy.com/demo, paste your youtube link and click summarize button.
